DEFENSE (DF)

Description:
Your job is to prevent the opponent from scoring and to intercept passes. It’s important to mark the opponent tightly to be a good defender.



The SB is a hybrid between a winger and a defender. He has tools to contribute while going forward and he has more ball control than a regular defender. The SB also has the Mountain Block skill used to block shots with a high trajectory such as the AMs Lightning Kick.


The SW is the deepest defender on the pitch. He has the tools to pressure the opposing runners off the ball by shoving them. He is also proficient at defending against opposing ST with the Max Clear skill and a stat bonus in marking.



The CB is a more aggressive defender who starts counterattacks with powerful tackling abilities. He can even briefly join the attack when necessary to make use of his heading skill. The CB also has a diving block skill that allows him to block shots on goal.

MIDDLE (MF)

Description:
Provides a connection between defense and attack. The midfielder creates chances with accurate passes and finishes chances by shooting from long range or making overlapping runs to perform Direct Shots on goal. Defensively, the midfielder contributes by intercepting passes higher up the field and pressuring opponents into giving up the ball.

An offensive midfielder with the primary focus on scoring goals. The AM gets a lot of shooting skills to carry his team with shots from long range..

A physical midfield position focused on winning back the ball. He also has a skill to pull opponents that are in possession of the ball, which slows them down. A DM can also make use of his heading ability.

The centre midfielder is a versatile position, most commonly he has a supportive role focused on intercepting short passes and loose balls with the Steal Catch skill. Steal Catch is the best interception skill in the entire game. Another important aspect of the CM is his ability to launch pinpoint passes to set up his teammates, and he contributes in defense by rapidly stealing the ball.

The side midfielder is a winger who specializes in crosses with all sorts of trajectories. The SM gets a lot of potent shooting skills and is one of the fastest positions in the game.

FORWARD (FW)

Description:
The forward’s role is to lead the attack and score goals for the team. A forward can also create chances for his teammates by pulling the opponent’s defensive players towards him.

The ST is a striker who specializes in heading, he gets an arsenal of skills to score from long, high passes and crosses.

The wing forward is very fast on the ball, clearly the best dribbler. He is decent at crossing and amazing at scoring goals with his signature shooting ability, the turn round shot.

The center forward leads the attack and scores goals by means of close-range shots. He is able to resist tackles with significant investment in ball control and can also set up chances for his teammates.
